Our story
LFM Corporate was founded by José Veríssimo in Marco de Canaveses.
While still in his teens, he began his journey into the world of photography, having set up his first photographic laboratory at the age of 22.
It was through the CityLab shops that José and Ascensão, his wife, saw the group grow. In 1987, after opening two spaces (Marco de Canaveses and Penafiel), they combined printing and distributing photographs with selling photographic equipment.
Ambitious growth
The LFM Corporate group owns five nationally and internationally renowned brands: Dreambooks, DreambooksPro, OnelabPro, LFMPro and Fotosport.
With more than four decades of activity, our company is guided by values such as quality, innovation and commitment to the organisational environment, with the main objective of meeting the most diverse needs and expectations of the photography sector..
Today we are reinforcing our commitment to suppliers, clients and the photography market through an ambitious growth plan and a commitment to specialising our employees.

Foundation of Laboratórios Fotográficos do Marco, in Marco de Canaveses
1987
Opening of the first CityLab stores in Marco de Canaveses and Penafiel, integrating laboratory services, printing, and photo equipment retail
1995
Creation of the digital imaging department, anticipating the transition from analog to digital
1998
Development and production of the first digital photo albums, marking a new phase in the group's product range
2001
Start of professional digital album production, which would later lead to the creation of the DreambooksPro brand
2004
Expansion of the retail division with the opening of stores in Brasília, Arrábida, and NorteShopping malls, in Greater Porto
2007
Launch of the first online platform for customizing digital albums and photo products, reinforcing the commitment to proprietary technology
2012
Beginning of DreambooksPro's internationalization process, with a primary focus on the European market
2014
Strengthening international presence with the establishment of a sales team in Spain and the opening of a laboratory in São Paulo, Brazil, for the Dreambooks and DreambooksPro brands
2016
Launch of the OnelabPro brand, dedicated to high-quality professional printing
2017
Acquisition of Fotosport and merger with CityLab, consolidating the retail division, alongside the launch of an online album layout service
